Liferaft Services We Provide

Scope of Liferaft Inspection & Servicing

Our liferaft servicing follows manufacturer procedures and international marine safety practices to ensure the equipment remains compliant, reliable, and ready for emergency deployment.

• Opening of liferaft container and external inspection

• Controlled inflation and pressure testing of buoyancy chambers

• Inspection of canopy, floor, seams, and structural components

• Verification of emergency equipment inventory

• CO₂ cylinder weight check and valve condition inspection

• HRU (Hydrostatic Release Unit) inspection (if fitted)

• Identification of damaged or worn components

• Repacking, vacuum sealing, and securing of liferaft

• Service labeling and documentation update

Age-Related Liferaft Testing (When Required)

Additional inspections and pressure tests are required based on liferaft age and manufacturer guidelines. These tests are performed during servicing when due and are not separate service types.

• Gas inflation test (typically at 5-year intervals)

• Floor seam / NAP (Non-Airtight Panel) strength test (from 10th year onward, brand dependent)

• CO₂ cylinder hydrostatic testing and recharge (interval based)

• Replacement of time-expired emergency equipment

Actual testing intervals depend on liferaft brand and manufacturer requirements.

Manufacturer-Based Liferaft Age Testing Schedule

The following additional tests are carried out in accordance with manufacturer requirements based on the age of the liferaft:

Test Abbreviations

Testing intervals may vary depending on liferaft brand and manufacturer instructions. Final testing requirements are confirmed during servicing.

Testing is conducted in accordance with manufacturer service manuals and approved servicing procedures.

Service Location & Certification

Service Location

All liferaft inspection and servicing are carried out at our dedicated service station.
We do not perform liferaft servicing onboard vessels or at jetty locations.
This ensures controlled testing conditions, accurate pressure testing, and full compliance with manufacturer servicing procedures.

Certification Provided

After successful servicing and inspection, we issue:

• In-House Service Certificate

• Detailed Service Report outlining inspection findings and work performed

All certification is issued in accordance with our approved servicing procedures and documented inspection records.

Manufacturer or maker-endorsed certification can be arranged upon request, subject to brand approval and additional charges.

Our Liferaft Service Process

What Is Included in Standard Annual Liferaft Service

Our standard annual servicing covers inspection, testing, and repacking of the liferaft in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and international marine safety practices.

The following are included:

• Opening of liferaft container and external condition check

• Controlled inflation and pressure testing of buoyancy chambers

• Inspection of canopy, floor, seams, and structural components

• Verification of emergency equipment inventory (visual check)

• CO₂ cylinder weight check and valve condition inspection

• HRU (Hydrostatic Release Unit) inspection (if fitted)

• Identification of visible damage or worn components

• Repacking, vacuum sealing, and securing of liferaft

• Service labeling and documentation update

• Issuance of in-house service certificate and service report
